Billon was one of only 15 companies admitted from a record-breaking 250 applications from 23 countries. The Accelerator, affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has a strong track record of transforming innovative startups into rapidly growing businesses with access to international markets.

The program begins in June 2021. Billon and other participants will benefit from Accelerator consultants’ expertise and support in finance, law and business. The program aims to help hone a robust value proposition to enter and scale in international markets, primarily in the United States. Five top companies from the accelerator will take part in a week-long bootcamp in Boston, scheduled for October 2021.

Billon has participated in several acceleration programs over the years, findingthem effective in gaining business traction in viable Unified Enterprise DLT use cases. Billon began its cooperation with FIS, a leading global provider of banking IT, through an FIS accelerator in 2018. Raiffeisen Bank International, following Billon's participation in the Elevator Lab acceleration program, developed the RBI Tokenization Platform with tokenized euros and other assets stored on Billon’s DLT.
Billon created a DLT protocol and system for national currency payments and document storage at scale, meeting all regulatory requirements and solving challenges for the wide adoption of blockchain technologies. With the protocol designed for high throughput and low cost of maintenance, our mission is to unleash the transformational capabilities of blockchain in the regulated world.
Billon provides client services for handling documents and regulated e-money on blockchain. The system also supports clients developing their own enterprise solutions in areas of Trusted Document Management, Regulated Digital Cash and Asset & Data Tokenization

MIT Enterprise Forum CEE is a CEE based, equity-free startup acceleration program affiliated to the worldwide recognized Massachusetts Institute of Technology that provides financial, legal and consultancy support to startup founders from the CEE region.
