CHALLENGE

OPTeam has been developing and providing solutions to support university operations for years. In doing so, it relies on its own experience, which has resulted in products that digitize administrative, teaching and research commercialization processes. Blockchain technology can be used for the efficient and secure publication of documents in communication between university, students and employers. OPTeam was looking forward to providing integrated solutions using the achievements of Billon’s technology.

OUR SOLUTION

Blockchain technology is an opportunity to both raise standards and increase convenience related to security. The solution makes it possible to fully verify the authenticity of documents, while preventing fraud such as forgery of diplomas and degrees. The blockchain-enriched system is a fully secure alternative to other methods that allow document management. Billon’s TDM solution allows students and universities to publish, store, and share diplomas and microcredentials in a fast and efficient way. It can store documents for decades in a digital register, making them convenient and easily accessible. The goal is to expand its functionalities to include the management of all types of academic documents, such as administrative decisions and student status certificates, creating a fully digital student file. This trusted and digital source of credentials is especially useful for students looking to study or work internationally, ensuring their documents are recognized and verified globally. The solution aims to operate on a mass scale, covering universities in Poland and abroad.

HOW IT WORKS

Optem has seamlessly integrated Billon's innovative document storage and sharing solution into its comprehensive University management systems, eSign for Study, EduWeb 360 and nAxiom. This integration allows universities to benefit from a streamlined process for handling documents, offering a modern approach to document management by leveraging the advantages of blockchain technology.

Our solution provides easy integration via API with Optem’s internal systems, enabling Optem to expand its product portfolio with a groundbreaking tool that enhances the security and accessibility of university documents. By choosing to incorporate our solution, Optem has reinforced its commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to educational institutions, ensuring a reliable and efficient means of document management that meets the evolving needs of universities today.
