CHALLENGE
IEEE Poland Section was looking for a solution to issue diplomas of winners of National Engineering Innovation Contest in a secure and fully digital manner.
The association aimed to ensure that the documents are protected from forgery and falsification. The credentials also needed to be accessible for students so that they can easily and reliably prove them to interested parties like future employers.
OUR SOLUTION
Billon’s blockchain technology solved the problem of fraudulent diplomas and forged education certificates. Our student credentials solution for IEEE allowed for the verification of immutability and integrity of data published on distributed ledger.
Based on the existing Trusted Document Management solution, we built dedicated front end applications for IEEE. The solution enabled secure storage of diplomas, easy student access as well as sharing and retrieval features on web and mobile applications.
